About
The Peabody Auditorium, located in a historic beachside neighborhood in Daytona Beach, Florida, was founded by Simon J. Peabody in 1919. The original frame structure, a 2,200-seat auditorium, was destroyed after the largest fire on record in Volusia County. In the fall of 1947, construction began on the new performing arts center and was dedicated on October 6, 1949. Since then, the Peabody Auditorium remains the area’s premiere performing arts center with renowned acoustics and 2,529 seats, all with a superb stage view. The venue hosts touring Broadway productions, symphonies and operas, concerts and comedy shows, competitive arts, and entertainment for the whole family. For more information, visit
