Tarpon Arts is the City of Tarpon Springs’ Department of Cultural Services/Division of Arts & Historical Resources, and also supports the City’s heritage and historic preservation activities. Its mission is to connect the community with the arts in all its diverse forms—past and present—by providing entertaining, stimulating, and engaging arts experiences. Tarpon Arts manages and operates four venues throughout the city: the Performing Arts Center (300 seats), the Cultural Center and Center for Gulf Coast Folklife (85 seats), the Heritage Museum (125 seats), and the 1883 Safford House Museum. In addition, some events take place at outside City locations such as the Sponge Docks, or at partner venues.
